Early End in Bloomfield
Hejna Brothers Racing hit the road for Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri this weekend. Friday night took the two to Bloomfield Speedway (Bloomfield, IA).
Al was able to qualify for the A-Main via passing points from his heat race. After starting 7th, things looked good, but trouble forced Al to end the night early - scored officially as 17th.
After racing in a heat that didn't see many passing points awarded, Mike was forced to run a B-Main. Trouble also hit for Mike as he was not able to finish that "B", and his night was over.
The two head to Memphis, MO to the Scotland County Speedway for another night on the USMTS trail.
Early End For Hejna's at QC
Al and Mike both qualified for the A-Main through their respective heat races, but both were forced to the pit area early during the A-Main. Al was officially scored as 22nd, and Mike was officially scored as 24th.

Al Changes Chassis / Weekend Schedule

THIS WEEKEND:
USMTS Officials have announced that the races for this Friday and Saturday (April 13-14) at the Blackbird Bend Speedway in Onawa, IA, have been postponed due to inclement weather. The event slated for this Sunday, April 15, at the Quad City Raceway in East Moline, IL, is still on as scheduled.
Bloomfield/Scotland Co. Postponed
Officials from the O'Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series have announced that the previously scheduled races for April 6-7 have been postponed. The 2nd Annual Iowa-Missouri Border War will now take place on Friday, April 20, at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway and Saturday, April 21, at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo.
Weekend Off, Both Race Next Weekend
Hejna Brothers Racing took the weekend off to spend time with family and prepare for next weekend's United States Modified Touring Series double-header weekend. Both Al and Mike will have their number 7's primed and pumped for a win.
The 2nd annual Iowa-Missouri Border Wars kicks off Friday (04-06-07) at the Bloomfield Speedway (Bloomfield, IA). On Saturday, the USMTS travel to the Scotland County Speedway (Memphis, MO).
