Good Start at McCool, But Bad Luck Later Al Hejna Racing took the black no. "7" to the Junction Motor Speedway (McCool Junction, NE). Friday, March 21st was the first of two nights there with the Untied States Modified Touring Series.

Friday night, Hejna started deep in the grid for heat race number 1, and raced his way to a second place finish. That earned him enough passing points to make the Top 8 - and in the redraw for the the 30-lap A-Main later that night.

Hejna started the main event on the inside of row two. Trouble forced an early retirement for Hejna and was scored 21st on the official final rundown.

Saturday night will again be at the 3/8-mile speedplant in McCool Junction, NE.
