Hard Work Brings Top 10 at Thunderhill On Sunday, March 16, 2008, Al Hejna Racing hit the Thunderhill Speedway (Mayetta, KS) for another night of racing with the stars of the United States Modified Touring Series.

Hejna started deep in the field for his heat race. He moved forward, but didn't earn enough USMTS Passing Points to make the A-Main. Forced to run a B-Main, Hejna missed a transfer to the main event by one spot.

Hejna was forced to take a provisional start, but he made the most of it. After starting "shotgun" on the grid (24th), Hejna worked through the field and finished 10th.
