Season Opener At McCool Postponed The O'Reilly USMTS National Tour season opener scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, March 7-8, at the Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, NE, has been postponed.

According to track promoter Delmar Friesen, the sub-freezing temperatures this week will greatly hamper track preparation. Rather than subject fans and drivers to arctic cold and a possible rough racing surface, the event has been postponed.

The event will now be held on Friday and Saturday, March 21-22. In the event of a cancellation on Friday, we will not race on Sunday due to the Easter Holiday.

Friday's event will pay $2,000 to win while the victor in Saturday’s main event will pocket $3,000. More than 70 entries are once again expected for the annual event at the 3/8-mile high-banked clay oval.
