Tough Start to 2008 Season Al Hejna Racing traveled to Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, KS for the start of the team's racing season. It was also the season opener for the Untied States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).

Hejna took the win in Heat Race #3, and he redrew the number one starting position for the 40-lap A-Main. Trouble forced Hejna to retire early from the event (official finish = 17th).

Sunday night, AHR travels to Thunderhill Speedway in Mayette, KS.
