Schedule Change, No Sioux Co. Fair
Al Hejna Racing will NOT be able to make the Sioux County Fair race Tuesday night. There was to much damage to the car from this past weekend's races to be made in time. The team wants to really put on a good show at the Harris Clash, so they've decided to go over the car inch by inch to make sure things are in goo shape for the Clash.
Saturday and Sunday Recap
It was a good weekend. Great runs coupled with raising $1,500 for JDRF made it a fun weekend for Al Hejna Racing.
The plan for Saturday was to hit the West Liberty Raceway, but Mother Nature won that battle, so the crew headed south to 34 Raceway in West Burlington, IA. Hejna won his heat. An accident on lap 2 during the A-Main, and Hejna was put to the back. He fought his way to finish 2nd. The team will work on getting West Liberty Raceway back onto the schedule soon.
Sunday the Harris Auto Racing number "7" traveled to Dubuque, IA, and the start of the A-Main was just like the night before. A car spun out on lap 1, and again Hejna was caught up in it. Hejna again to the back, and again had to fight his way through the field. Hejna finished 4th.
AHR would like to thank Tipton Speedway, 34 Raceway, and Dubuque Speedway for helping get the word out about the JDRF Tour. The team saw a lot of race fans and a lot of people looking to help raise money for JDRF.

Top 5 In Tipton
Al Hejna Racing and the All Iowa JDRF Tour continues. Friday night, Hejna traveled to Tipton, IA and the Cedar County Raceway. Hejna piloted the Harris Auto Racing number "7" to a 5th place finish.

Schedule Change for This Weekend
Al Hejna Racing will now be heading to Tipton, IA for the Cedar County Fair. Races are set for this Friday night. On Saturday, AHR will hit the West Liberty Raceway, and they will wrap up the weekend in Dubuque, IA.
Don't forget that AHR will race at this year's Harris Clash at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, IA. You will be able to listen in to a live radio web cast that night on www.RaceTalkLive.com. Broadcast is slated to start at 7:00 PM (cst).
