First Lap Crash Ends Night Early (05-20-09) - - Al Hejna Racing hit the United States Modified Touring Series stop at the Marshalltown (IA) Speedway. Hejna raced his way into the A-Main through his heat race. An accident that started in front of Hejna as the field completed lap one collected Hejna's car and ended his night.

The car was scheduled to hit the Harris AUto Racing shop Thursday morning for repairs. Hopefully things can be repaired in time for tonight's race in Cresco, IA.

6th At Oskaloosa On Tuesday, May 19, 2009, Al Hejna Racing knocked of the dust with a trip to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, IA.

Hejna made his way into the USMTS A-Main by winning his B-Main. After starting 14th, Hejna started working forward. Hejna drove the Rookies Rockin' Sports Bar, Harris Auto Racing number "7" to a 6th place finish.
